Sometimes you have to fall from the mountain to realize what you are climbing for, obstacles are placed in our way to see if what we want is really worth fighting for. From every wound there is a scar, and every scar tells a story. A story that says, "I was deeply wounded, but I survived."
and...
Take chances, take a lot of them. Because honestly no matter where you end up and with whom, it always ends up just the way it should be. Your mistakes make you who you are. You learn and grow with each choice you make. Everything is worth it. Say how you feel, always be you, and be okay with it.

Quotes on Love by Bob Marley.
These are just touching and so true. The man had a gift with words and wisdom on love. I am trying to learn about love without experiencing it with someone else.
"Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are apart of your life."

Finding Gratitude in Solitude
Here I sit, a single mother of 3 children.
My life and day to day struggles are something some people can only handle in small doses.
I live this 24/7 with barely room to breathe
No time to escape
Even a bathroom break alone is a treat.
I’m often asked,
How do you do it?
How do you handle it?
My response is usually because I have to
But, no
I do because I am strong
Because I can
Because you can’t
Because I will teach these children how to be good people
I spend copious amounts of time alone
Time thinking
Researching
Learning
Growing
Reflecting
Hiding
Exploring
Dancing
Singing
Getting lost in music
Dreaming
Some people think being alone is so frightening, I understand that because I used to think the same thing. I see so many people fighting it, being in relationships that are never going to go anywhere. Never seeing the potential they have in themselves. Constantly searching for someone to be with, why? Why are we so stuck on finding the one, worrying and stressing over having to be with someone. I have been there and probably be there once again, I’m just at the stage in my life where I question it and don’t see the need to have someone.
Ramble

If you are single, enjoy it, you have your whole lives to find someone. Date yourself. Enjoy yourself. Love yourself. In the end it’s only you anyways, may as well learn to like it J

Getting Inspired...
Remember that whole, We only have this one life bit? Well, it's time to put it all into action. How? Start with inspiration!
1. Create an Inspiration Room.
Recently I transformed my office into an inspiration room. I will have to upload pictures soon. Since I am a crafter and performance artist I organized all my crafts, 20-30 hula hoops all stacked nicely. Costumes organized and tucked away. A space for yoga and flow. I also created a nice little corner with pillows and blankets for writing and reading. There are no distractions such as a Computer! I feel like I can live in this room. It has all my favorite things in a well organized space. It's quiet, it's away from everyone and everything. So get organized, and create your own inspiration room. If you don't have space to dedicate an entire room to, then create a space, even in a corner of a room that is all yours. Have a space that it unique to you and has all your favorite things that inspire you, even if they are just pictures.
2. Quotes.
Ok, so I am a quote whore. I must admit it. Quotes are huge and profound! You can really gain perspective. Start a quote book or purchase one. I have started my own quote book. Everyday read a new quote. Leave quotes around your home for you or someone to randomly find.
3. People Watch.
People watching is probably one of my favorite things to do. Did you know you can become inspired from people watching? From plays to sporting events, to sitting on a bench and observing people passing you by. We learn from each other. You never know what you might see that will inspire you. Maybe an intense basketball game will inspire you to join a team. Maybe a play will inspire you to join a group. Maybe someones outfit will inspire you to sew. Get off your ass and out into the world!!
4. Hobbies
Get a hobby. Start with something simple, walking, riding a bike, learning a craft, or playing sports. Get involved in something. I tend to have lots of hobbies because I get bored easily. You can pretty much google "How to learn" anything from soap making to beat boxing. Learn something new and you will become inspired to learn more.
5. Step Out of Your Shell.
Go do something you have never done, and do it alone. Look at your community calender, there are so many cheap and free things to do. Go to trivia night, game night at a coffee/tea shop, volunteer at a shelter. Do something you wouldn't normally do. You never know who will meet or what will happen. Great things happen from stepping out of your comfort zone.
These are just a few tips on getting you started. Get inspired and live your life!
I leave you with my quote of the day:
"There are no failures - just experiences and your reactions to them"

Steps to Growing as a Person
Steps to Growing as a Person. Entry 1
Here I sit 27 years old, a single mother of 3 children, and with dreams of being a successful person. I don’t measure success with money, I measure success with life experiences and good logical senses. The money would be nice though. J I would like to find a way to support my family by helping people.
I am developing steps on how to grow and become a better person. This will be an ongoing list and will always be revised, this is entry number one.
1. Exercise.
Not only is exercise good for your entire body, it is excellent for your emotional health too. The better you feel, the more energy you have, the better you will feel emotionally too. Start with something small, with a regular workout routine. Start with 30 minutes 3 times a week. Something, anything as long as it is repetitive. When you repeat a process it becomes something you are used to, and you don’t like living without. Once you get to the point to where working out is something you are used to and enjoy you will learn to not like living without it.
2. Avoid Negative Thinking.
You are your own worst critic. Stop criticizing yourself, I know daily affirmations sound so silly to do, but they do work. Have confidence in yourself. When someone compliments you, look into their face and don’t look down. Accept that compliment and believe that compliment. The more you believe in yourself, others will believe in you.
3. Stop Watching Television.
What a waste of time! Movies yes, television for hours a day NO! Stop that. You are wasting your time and life watching a black box. Not only are you sitting, doing nothing many television programs and commercials are bad for your self-esteem. Yes those girls/guys have amazing, perfect bodies but the computer program made them that way. Get out into life and experience real people, those are the people you should be looking up to. Stop watching the Packers? Now that is just silly J
4. Start Writing.
One of the best ways to process a thought is to get it out on paper. Write it out and then read it and see how it makes you feel. Or, ask someone else to read it and see what their take is. Sometimes when you spend the time writing you can see how your thought process works, some people need to see things in order to understand them. They are visual people. It’s also a good way to be creative. Pick a topic and write your feelings about it.
5. Random Acts of Kindness.
Random acts of kindness are a wonderful tool for positive thinking. Not only are you potentially making someone’s day you are also doing something for yourself. Doing things for other people make you feel good about yourself. Help someone across the street, leave your change in the vending machine, help someone with their groceries. You will be creating a wave of kindness for many people to see.
6. Overcome a Fear.
Stage fright? Heights? Public Speaking? Fears have a way of keeping you from growing. Address your fear, learn from it and grow from it. From the simple fears to the big fears. Let them go, embrace them, live them, and learn!
7. Set Goals For Yourself.
Even the smallest goal, when accomplished can be the most rewarding. There is nothing greater than crossing that finish line feeling like winner, whether you won or not. Life is not a game, nor a race but when you set goals for yourself you have something to work towards, something to look forward to. First start with a goal that you can accomplish, set a reward for yourself. As you become more aware of your wants and desires you can increase the intensity of your goals. Failing is not true failure. Without failure there is not growth. If you don’t make mistakes you won’t learn what NOT to do. So it’s ok to not succeed every time.

I Believe...
I believe...
You don't need to yell, you can say the same words without raising your voice.
I believe...
The grass is not greener, live your life because it's your life, don't waste energy on thinking about what could be.
I believe...
The smallest gifts have the most lasting impressions.
I believe...
That I can have a conversation with my best friend without talking.
I believe...
Sometimes secrets are better left unsaid.
I believe...
It can always be worse, someone always has it worse than you do.
I believe...
Everything happens for a reason, we must stop trying to figure out why things happen, live the answers.
I believe...
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember what you said before.
I believe...
That you should never settle for less than anything you deserve. Remember you deserve everything you desire.
I believe...
Sometimes you need to take a few steps backwards in order to move forward.
I believe...
We should be nice to all people in all walks of life, we are all people, we all have hearts. Some people need more help than others, help them.
I believe...
That you must first believe in yourself! You are amazing, beautiful, talented, and unique. Once you believe, everyone else will too.
What do you believe? Leave me a comment below.

Soul mates, Love, Friendships
Soul mates:
“A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave. A soul mate’s purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, and make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life.” ~Elizabeth Gilbert
This quote is hard for me. As much as I struggle with the idea that your soul mates leave you, it's so true. The people in our lives, right now, will probably not be there, no in fact the WILL NOT be there forever. I just wish I could keep all my favorite people in my life forever. So many people have been such important people to me in my life that I cannot grasp the concept that eventually they won't, even though I know from all my past experiences they won't be here forever.
I believe you can have multiple soul mates. Just the same way you can have mutiple friends and fall in love multiple times. At this current time in my life I have three. My idea of a soul mate is someone who you can just look at and feel calm, someone who knows you for you and accepts you, someone you can tell anything and everything to.
Love:
Not something I should be writing about since my experiences in love have not been pleasant. Now that I know what I want in a partner I will try.
"Unless it is mad, passionate, extraordinary love it is a waste of time. There are too many mediocre things in life. Love should not be one of them."
This quote is how I will live my love life from here on out. Don't waste your time, your heart, nor your energy on mediocre love. We have this one life, life is so short and before you know it you look back on your life and see what you have done, who you have become. Do you want to look back on your love life and feel sadness or do you want to look back and feel happy for the great loves you once had? There is nothing wrong with knowing what you want, setting high expectations on future loves, and demanding yourself to accept nothing but greatness. It is out there, it will find you, just open your heart to people and let love in.
Friendships:
Friendships to me are a combination of love and soul mates without sexual behavior (in some cases there is). If you think about your best friend, can you tell them anything? Have they helped you transform your life? Is your love for them nothing less than passionate, extraordinary, and meaningful? Are they truthful, honest, and open with you? Will they tell you your zipper is down and your hair looks aweful? Friendships are important for your emotional and social growth. Make sure your friendships match your standards for love and soul mates. Expect nothing less and you will get nothing less.
